This is Judi of Self Care Connections, and if you have joined me in classes, you know that I sometimes share a quote or two as “the theme” of a class. I also like to post those sayings/quotes on a mirror, tuck them in a drawer, or attach them to the inside of a cabinet. Then, as I open the drawer or cabinet to find a pen, a toothbrush, or my socks, I see a wonderful reminder. Often I quickly read the quote, inhale & exhale, smile, and then go about my day. Who knows–maybe some of the following quotes will make their way into your home?

Here are some of the “words of wisdom” I have shared recently:

Advice from a Tree. Stand tall and proud. Remember your roots! Reflect the light of your true nature. Drink plenty of water. Enjoy the view. A part of a poem by Ilan Shamir

Playfulness. I am a playful participant in life, and I always have the option to make something a fun game rather than a heavy burden. Mary Poppins.

Breathe. Smile. Let Go.

BIP BOP breathing. Breathe In Peace. Breathe Out Pain (physical, emotional, stuck stagnant energy) Shared by laughter leader and Self Care Connections team member, Joan

Be grateful. “When we take the time to acknowledge the abundance in our lives . . . we attract even more blessings and reasons to feel grateful. Cheryl Richardson

During our brief stay on planet earth, we owe ourselves and our descendants the opportunity to explore. Neil Tyson

You sparkle with life. You’re so full to the brim. . . . You’re made of pure sunlight with so much to share. Donna Ashiverth

Do Little Things With Big Love. From J. in St. Paul’s calendar

In this moment, may you be at peace. What has come before has already passed. What is yet to be has not yet arrived. Enter fully into this breath, this moment, tasting it, hearing it, feeling it, seeing it, knowing it, accepting it, breathing it, cherishing this singular ephemeral experience, receding already into the cosmic sea. Ocean of Yoga, Julie Dunlop

I also enjoy the sayings inside the Mamma Chia bottle caps. They’re tucked around the house, too!
Silly is good. Be silly.
What makes your Soul sing?
Compassion fuels the Soul.
Laughter loves company.

There you go . . . a few quotes for you to enjoy! If you’re interested and available, join the Self Care Connections team in laughter, yoga, or qigong adventures.
