about Judi and Sarah“Practicing Qigong with Sarah and Judi for the past three years has been nothing short of life-changing. It’s not just about the motions—it’s about the emotions, the energy, and the incredible sense of balance it brings to every part of life.
Beyond Qigong itself, I’ve been introduced to complementary practices like transformational breath, lymph detox, yoga, and meditation. The wisdom shared extends beyond the practice, including discussions on nourishing foods and holistic wellness. Unlike many other programs, this one fosters a deep sense of connection—not just to our own bodies, but to a truly supportive and inspiring community.
Sarah and Judi bring such warmth, knowledge, and encouragement that every session feels like a gift. If you’re looking for something that supports your well-being on all levels—physical, emotional, and energetic—this is it!”

about Sarah“My healing began via Sarah Adams Marr Dumas’ Qigong class in late June 2024. Sarah was so supportive, telling us that we could not do anything wrong and reminding us that Spring Forest Qigong is always done as “good, better, best.” Through her loving devotion to her group, we are able to practice five days a week regularly, which they have been doing for about four years! I am very blessed to be a part of Sarah’s Qi Circle.
Previously, I was losing several days per week to exhaustion, body pain, brain fog, IBS and depression. Western medicine labeled these symptoms fibromyalgia, gave me a mild muscle relaxer, and told me that they had no cure for it. I also suffered night terrors and irregular, intense heart flutters. But, within a month or so the symptoms began decreasing in intensity and frequency. I got very excited. I began practicing twice a day, and Sarah taught us how to incorporate Qigong throughout the day. Eight months later… I am off of the pain medication that I used for neuropathy, I am off the anti-depressant that I was on for four years, and I am enjoying a healthy digestive system for the first time that I can remember. I no longer have nightmares or intense heart flutters. And best of all, I am a part of a loving community. Thank you, Sarah.”

about Judi“I have experienced the joys of having Judi lead me in Qigong and Laughter Yoga over the past few years.
Judi can always bring a smile to my face no matter how my day has been. She has the teaching gift to calm us, remind us what is important in our life and health, and send us off after a practice with a renewed feeling of energy and peace combined. She once volunteered to lead Yoga with a group of children in an after school program at our church. She had some very active students who at the end were totally relaxed on the floor listening carefully to her voice after a fun Yoga Session.
I also had the unique experience of having Judi lead Qigong with a small group of travelers during a sunrise in Kruger National Park in South Africa. One of my best memories of Qigong. I thank Judi for introducing me to Qigong and appreciate her teaching and leading gifts.”

about Judi“I was depressed and anxious during the pandemic. Many of my coping tools had been taken away. Judi, a childhood friend, had re-entered my life, and she introduced me to Spring Forest Qigong. I’ll admit that I was skeptical, at first. I love that qigong is about the mind, body and spirit. Judi always stresses “good, better, best.” I don’t ever feel like
I am doing any of the techniques “wrong.” Judi has an amazing energy, which comes through in her teaching. She lets all emotions be present. Our Zoom qigong group is a team and a family, because of Judi’s teaching style. We are all accepted for who we are.
Qigong breathing, movement and healing were my coping tools these past eight months and will be into the future.”

about Joan“I am so very thankful that Joan introduced me to ‘laughing for no reason.’ She is a great laughter leader. Laughter is one more way we can take care of ourselves … it has improved my physical and emotional health. Joan explains the physical and mental benefits of laughter in detail and always has fun, little exercises for the group to do, which is really helpful, especially to those new to this practice.
I admire Joan as well as the other Self Care Connections leaders for their commitment to the practices and the comradery they share.”

about Suzann“I have been studying martial arts for 40 years. I have studied many styles including Chines Kenpo, Northern Shaolin Kung Fu Long Fist, Krav Maga, and Hapkido. I have also had many joint replacements. I needed to find a program that would be able to fit my lifestyle at this time in my life.
I was very fortunate to find Suzann’s program teaching Spring Forest SFQ. Suzann is the type of person that can engage her students, keep their attention, and encourages all to improve. During a pandemic Suzann has continued to have a faithful following of students that continue to learn from her. She has been able to modify her class to social distance and allow her students to feel safe.
I would highly recommend Suzann as an instructor. I appreciate having been her student.”

Jeanne (WI)
about Suzann“Suzann is very knowledgeable and taught SFQ to people that had no previous experience.. I am very uncoordinated and she was very patient as she helped everyone move forward in the movements at their own pace, while also working with me to get my movements going in the right sequence.
It was very beneficial as it was very calming and improved my balance. I would recommend the class for anyone that is interested in this wonderful practice that helps us develop mind-body practices that improve our body’s energy.”

Mary (WI)
about Suzann“I have had the pleasure and privilege of attending Suzann’s QiGong sessions over the last two years. Her lesson plans are well researched and organized, and follow a logical progression. She is very patient and willing to ensure everyone is following and to give extra help if needed. I am SFQ Level III but she has still taught me a lot.
Her personal energy is so serene and open, her classes are a real pleasure to take part I very much look forward to attending future time with her at her next level. She will make a wonderful teacher.”

John (WI)
about Suzann“I am a runner, weightlifter, yoga doer who is self taught. I took a class with Suzann, mostly for my wife. I found the class quite good, and it really loosened up my ankles, which have been tight for decades.”
